Get ready to party to all-vinyl records of the DJs of Mile High Soul Club playing 60’s and Early 70’s Soul & Funk all night!
MHSC has worked with and opened for such notable acts as Nick Waterhouse, Lenny Kravitz, Charles Bradley, JC Brooks and the Uptown Sound, Fred Schneider of the B-52’s, Jello Biafra of the Dead Kennedys and many more.

We are working to keep our prices as low as possible so you may have an extra buck to chip in for the PreK-12 school dance programming that we are raising money for at this event!!

Constance Harris, aka Connie Love, is a Colorado-based dance artist, choreographer, and creative producer who uses movement, music, and nightlife to build community. Her work blends house, hip-hop, line dance, and Afrobeats with storytelling rooted in joy, lineage, and liberation.
She is the co-founder and artistic director of Raw Groove, an African diasporic dance collective known for dynamic performances and immersive experiences across Denver. Through projects like Life of the Party and Tenets, Constance creates spaces that connect concert dance and club culture.
She also teaches throughout the Front Range, leading classes and workshops that uplift diasporic expression, collective healing, and transformation through movement.

At 27, Cyle Dixon is an award-winning dancer from Cleveland whose passion for movement began early through soul line dancing and singing in church. He started dancing at 13 with the Cleveland Junior Jitterbugs, developing a deep love for Lindy Hop and exploring multiple dance styles, choreography, and soul line dance.
Cyle has performed worldwide at events such as Frankie 100, Herrang Dance Camp, ILHC, and Camp Hollywood. As a teacher, he aims to honor the legacy of his ancestors while inspiring students to feel the music deeply and express their individuality with authenticity and soul.

Started in 2008 by Rockabilly and Ribs founder DJ DogBoy, and Lipgloss co-founder, Tyler Jacobson, Mile High Soul Club has become the epicenter for Denver’s flourishing soul underground. Known internationally as one of the bright spots of America’s current soul scene, Mile High Soul Club is a monthly party on the 2nd Saturday at HQ in Denver where resident DJs, guest DJs and live bands specialize in making the dance floor move with a quality mix of Soul, Funk, Northern Soul and R&B.
In 2012, the duo of DJ DogBoy and Tyler Jacobson became a trio with the addition of DJ Steve Cervantes. MHSC has worked with and opened for such notable acts as Nick Waterhouse, Lenny Kravitz, Charles Bradley, JC Brooks and the Uptown Sound, Fred Schneider of the B-52’s, Jello Biafra of the Dead Kennedys and many more.

Choose your own partner. Prelims are on Saturday after classes. Finals are Saturday night during the main dance. Air steps and lifts are allowed.

No partner needed to enter. Leads and follows will rotate and be judged individually for prelims and as a partnership for finals. Prelims are Saturday after classes. Finals are SUNDAY during the evening dance.

Any swing goes! Free to enter! Grab a partner and dance to increasing tempos until the last ones stand! Judging will be tap-out style. This contest runs during the Saturday late night dance. Prizes? Bragging rights and free passes to Hot Jazz Jamboree 2026!

Our invitees will draw a random partner and dance balboa and shag spotlights. Are they a double threat? Come find out Friday night after the band!
